The Red Guards Pipes and Drums are formed by a group of Scottish bagpipes music lovers; most members are existing and retired members of the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Pipe Band (formerly known as the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Pipe Band). The band made their debut in the 1980s under the direction of Cary Chung, the band's Pipe Major.

紅衛士樂團由一群蘇格蘭風笛音樂愛好者組成； 大多數成員是香港輔助警察隊風笛隊（前身為皇家香港輔助警察隊風笛隊）的現有及退休成員。 樂隊於 1980 年代在樂隊的領隊鍾治正的帶領下開始了他們的首場演出。

The Red Guards Pipes and Drums aim to spread the music and culture of Scottish bagpipes in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other countries in South East Asia. The band is actively performing at various public and private events across the region, including Burns Night and the St Andrew's Ball.

紅衛士樂團旨在於香港、中國大陸和東南亞其他國家傳播蘇格蘭風笛的音樂和文化。 樂隊積極在地區內的不同公共和私人活動中表演，包括伯恩斯之夜和聖安德魯舞會。

The Red Guards Pipes and Drums meet regularly to practice and improve the techniques of Scottish piping and drumming, aiming to reach a level comparable to that of world-class pipe bands. For more than 30 years, as a non-profit organisation composed of amateurs and friends, members of the Red Guards Pipes and Drums have purchased and repaired musical instruments and uniforms at their own expense. However, the Red Guards Pipes and Drums are always ready to train a new generation of bagpipers and drummers, as well as to promote and perpetuate Scottish bagpiping and drumming culture in Hong Kong and neighbouring regions.

紅衛士樂團定期舉行聚會，進行練習和提高蘇格蘭管樂和鼓樂的技術，旨在達到與世界一流風笛隊相媲美的水平。 過去30多年，作為一個由業餘愛好者和的朋友組成的非營利組織，紅衛士樂團的成員都是自費購買和維修樂器及製服。 但是，紅衛士樂團時刻準備著培養新一代風笛手和鼓手，以及在香港以及鄰近地區推廣和延續蘇格蘭風笛文化。

The Red Guards Pipes and Drums welcome people of all ranks, ages, and gender to join us, regardless of their experience with Scottish piping and drumming. The Red Guards Pipes and Drums offer formal training for inexperienced pipers and drummers via Hong Kong Piping and Drumming Academy, a non-profit society registered under the Societies Ordinance by the members of the band in 2021 (Registration number CP/LIC/SO/19/63577).

紅衛士樂團歡迎所有階級、年齡和性別的人加入我們，無論他們在蘇格蘭風笛和鼓樂方面的經驗和等級如何。 紅衛士樂團會通過香港風笛鼓樂學院為沒有經驗的風笛手和鼓手提供正式培訓。這個學院是一個由樂隊成員於 2021 年根據《社團條例》註冊的非牟利社團 (註冊編號CP/LIC/SO/19/63577）。
